Bunnies are loving and active creatures. Here is something that you can do to get them active and which your bunnies will love.
Things you need:
A Cardboard Box (moderate size)
A Scissor
A Blade
A Pencil
A Duct Tape
Some Timothy Hay
Rabbit Kibbles as treats
Two Empty Tissue Rolls
Two Coated Tie Wire
Step one:
Remove the top flap potion of the box with a blade. Once done, tape the inner surface of the box with some duct tape for stability of the play box.
Step two:
Make entry doors at one or two angles of the box. It can be round or square in shape depending on your bunny's size. Draw the size required and make the hole using a blade.
Step 3:
To increase the difficulty level, you may also add in partition in the box using the leftover cardboard. Make sure it fits well. Creating a passage through the partition will just spice up your bunny’s playtime.
Step 4:
Add on some timothy hay and some rabbit kibbles inside the play area.
Step 5:
Next, take the empty tissue roll and pierce a hole at the top part.
Step 6: Put in at approximately two inches of the coated tie wire through the whole and tie a dead knot.
Step 7:
Keep it tucked at the top of the box facing the inner area of the play box. Now you can add in some timothy hay into the hanged empty tissue rolls.
Your mini bunny play box now is complete. Place them in. Make sure you are around till they are comfortable with their new toy and play area as bunnies take time to adopt.
Have a bunnyfull playtime and enjoy!!
