Discus Fish are great parents. On this video, you can see them guarding and cleaning their eggs and waving water over them.
The male (the blue colored fish)has just gotten back from foraging. These beautiful fish actually take turns caring for the eggs.
When the babies hatch, the parents will produce a milk-like substance from their skin. The babies will feed on this milk-like substance for the first two to three weeks of their lives.
